The Road to Guffey has been the proverbial long and winding one.

The dream of living in the mountains with a bunch of happy critters and sharing the space with good friends and good people from around the world has been the driving force behind what we do here.  Creating a beautiful space, being a good steward to the land, raising, growing and harvesting food and animals to the best of our ability is paramount.  Every day is an adventure and a lesson learned.​

It's not always easy.  As a matter of fact, most days are lots of hard work interspersed with tears, grief and gratitude for it all.  I am often reminded of Tom Hanks in A League of Their Own when he says "It's supposed to be hard.  If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it.  The hard... is what makes it great."
